All Ages All Stages Band aligns with the National Core Arts Standards (NCAS) for Music, ensuring students receive comprehensive, standards-based instruction in a fully online ensemble setting.
But beyond standards, we prioritize something equally important: helping students feel safe, capable, and proud of their musical growth.
🎶Creating
Students generate, develop, and refine musical ideas through improvisation, level-based parts, and guided rehearsal. Backing tracks and professional model videos provide structure and support between sessions.
🎤 Performing
Students perform in organized online ensembles of up to seven members, with designated parts for guitar, keyboard, bass, drums, and wind/brass instruments. They build technical skill, timing, and expressive confidence — learning that the music continues even when mistakes happen.
Through active listening and reflection, students analyze musical choices, evaluate performances, and deepen their understanding of genre and style. Reflection strengthens both musicianship and self-awareness.
